Boys Spring 2025, 7 on 7 - Spring 2025

7 on 7 is a travel touch football league emphasizing passing. Male participants must be nine years old as of September 1, 2025, and MUST have been registered for our fall 2024 or current fall 2025 season. Current 8th graders are encouraged to play. We will not be playing in Mount Prospect and usually have to travel to a host site; in the past, games have been held in Schaumburg, Stevenson H.S. Glenbrook South, and Huntley. Games are on Sundays and will start on April 6, and the season can go to June 1st (No games on Easter but we will play on Mother's Day.) Usually, each team practices a few times a season. MP Football's approach to 7 on 7 is very lax; the goal is to have fun and develop new skills.

Registration will close on March 16th. 

Girls Spring 2025, 7 on 7 - Spring 2025

Our league told us they will have an all-girls division. We will be accepting registration for the all-girls league for current 3rd through 8th-grade girls, seven on seven is mainly a passing league without blockers so it may be difficult at a young age. Mount Prospect Youth Football Regular Season - Fall 2025

Our tackle program competes in the TCYFL Travel League. Teams are divided by age/weight. Even though we try and get our athletes as much playing time as possible, positions & playing time will be dictated by skill & commitment level. MPYF is committed to making the game as safe as possible. We purchased the Shadowman Tackling Trainers and the Protech Helmet add-on to support our safety initiative. Registration will close without warning when teams are filled so don't wait. 

Tackle practice will start with conditioning camp on July 22. Our preference is to play games on Saturday. However, we can only control our home games (4 to 5), which will be played on Saturdays. Away games (4 to 5) are governed by the away team and may occur on Saturdays or Sundays. All home games (4 to 5) will be played at Melas Park or Prospect High School. Tackle team practice a minimum of three times a week. Each head coach will determine the team’s practice schedule and location, which will be an MP Park or School. 7 on 7 registration and tackle equipment dates will be forthcoming. 

2025 flag football levels by age as of September 1st (Ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-13) our flag football program is an in-house program with an entire season of approximately eight regular season games. Players typically practice two nights a week and have one game per week from late August through October. The flag season includes up to three playoff games. Each head coach will determine the team’s practice schedule and location, which will be an MP Park or School. Practice will start in the weeks preceding conditioning camp around the end of July. All games will be played at Melas Park on Sundays, with a possibility of a night game at Prospect High School.
